Vintage garnet hearts&stars earrings

Each earring is set with 17 genuine rosecut garnets
in a fine burgundy darkred color.
The size of one earring is 1.7 inch high and 0.5 inch wide.
They were made in the old alloy 'Tombak' (similar to 'Pinchbeck')
with a rosegoldplating like it was usual in those days.
The earwires are made of solid 14ct gold.
The weight of one earring is 3 grams.The size of the earrings can be seen on the last picture
where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with.

This is huge old stock from a retired garnet wholesaler
where I found many old garnet pieces in a forgotten
attic. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2.
The garnets are set in 'Tombak' also called
'garnet gold' (similar to 'Pinchbeck') a base metal with
14ct-rosegoldplating like it was usual in these days.
Your earrings come decorated in a beautiful jewel box.
All stones are genuine natural garnets.
