Vintage garnet bracelet Victorian style. This bracelet is set with 50 genuine natural rosecut garnets surrounding round cabouchon garnets measuring 0.4 x 0.4 inch in a fine burgundy darkred color.in the old alloy \'Tombak\' goldplated with a rosegoldplating like it was usually made in these days.round garnets are linked together to a bracelet of7.1/2 inch (length) and 0.4 inch (width)The weight of that bracelet is 13.6 gramThe size of the bracelet can be seen on the last picture where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with. This is huge old stock from a retired garnet wholesaler where I found many old garnet pieces in a forgotten attic. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2. The garnets are set in \'Tombak\' also called \'garnet gold\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\') a base metal withrosegoldplating like it was usual in those days. All stones are genuine natural garnets.Your bracelet comes decorated in a beautiful jewel box.??The larger stones sometimes may have small natural inclusionsthat can be seen with a loupe if you hold it against the lightbut not withthe naked eye or when you wear it.
