Vintage garnet earringsw/14ct gold wiresVictorian style Each earring is set with 15 genuine facetted rosecut garnets surrounding a center round stone measuring 0.19 x 0.19 inch It is made in the old alloy \'Tombak\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\') with a rosegoldplating like it was usual in those days. The earwires are made of solid 14ct gold. Each earring measures allover 1.58 x 0.62 inch. The weight of one earring is 3.3 grams. If you want studs/posts instead of french wires let me know - we can exchange it with no charge. The size of the earrings can be seen on the last picture where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with. _ This is huge old stock from a retired garnet wholesaler where I found many old garnet pieces in a forgotten attic. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2. The garnets are set in \'Tombak\' also called \'garnet gold\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\') a base metal withrosegoldplating like it was usual in these days. All stones are genuine natural garnets. Please keep in mind that earrings are TWO pieces with double quantity of stones compared to a ring or pendant.
