Each earring is set with 26 genuine natural rosecut garnets surrounding a center oval cabouchon garnet measuring 0.3 x 0.2 inch in a fine burgundy darkred color. The size of one earring is 1.8 inch high and 0.46 inch wide. They were made in the old alloy \'Tombak\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\')with a rosegoldplating like it was usual in those days. The earwires are made of solid 14ct gold.The weight of one earring is 3.7 gramIf you want studs/posts instead of french wireslet me know - we can exchange it with no charge. The size of the earrings can be seen on the last picture where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with. This is huge old stock from a retired garnet wholesaler where I found many old garnet pieces in a forgotten attic. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2. The garnets are set in \'Tombak\' also called \'garnet gold\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\') a base metal withrosegoldplating like it was usual in these days. All stones are genuine natural garnets.Your earrings come decorated in a beautiful jewel box.
