Vintage garnet pendant Victorian style This pendant is set with genuine 39 rosecut garnets surrounding a center round stone measuring 0.18 x 0.18 inch. The pendant itself is 1.0 inch wide and 1.5 high (see picture). It was made in the old alloy \'Tombak\' with a rosegoldplating like it was usual in those days. The length of the chain is 19.0 inch and could be adjusted to every length you tell us (for free) The weight of this necklace is 16.2 gram. The size of the pendant can be seen on the last picture where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with. Your jewel is packed in a beautiful old looking black leatherette jewel box. _ This is old stock from a retired garnet wholesaler where I found many old garnet pieces in a forgotten attic. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2. The garnets are set in \'Tombak\' also called \'garnet gold\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\') a base metal with a rosegoldwash like it was usual in those days. All stones are genuine natural garnets. ??The larger stones sometimes may have small natural inclusions that can be seen with a loupe if you hold it against the light but not withthe naked eye or when you wear it.
