Gorgeous Vintage garnet earrings
w/14ct solid gold wires
in Victorian style

Each earring is set with genuine 33 facetted rosecut garnets
surrounding a center round garnet measuring 0.37 x 0.37 inch.
The size of one earring is 2 inch high and 0.7 inch wide.
They were made in the old alloy \'Tombak\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\')
with a rosegoldplating like it was usual in those days.
The earwires are made of solid 14ct gold.
The weight of one earring is 5.6 gram. If you want studs/posts instead of french wires
let me know - we can exchange it with no charge. The size of the earrings can be seen on the last picture where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with.
his is huge old stock from a retired garnet wholesaler
where I found many old garnet pieces in a forgotten attic. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2.
The garnets are set in \'Tombak\' also called
\'garnet gold\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\') a base metal withrosegoldplating like it was usual in these days.
All stones are genuine natural garnets.
