28 Bohemian rosecut garnets are set in this brooch
surrounding an oval shell cameo measuring 0.82 x 0.6 inch
in a fine burgundy darkred color.
The whole brooch measures 1 by 0.85 inch.It was made in Sterling Silver (925) with a
rosegoldwashlike it was usual in the old days.
The weight of this garnet jewel is 6.2 gram.The dimensions of the brooch can be seen on the last picture
where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with.
